We are sure everyone has heard the great news regarding the Publication Ban and anonymity order that prevented us from discussing the ongoing legal battle initiated by Jessica Yaniv Simpson against Donald Francis Smith. This issue has been ongoing since the 2019 Wax My Balls days.
We have already started to wade through the multitude of documents and affidavits filed by Jessica about this matter, which were all things we could not legally report on. It will take several days to get through everything, but we have some highlights for you right now.
First and foremost, it needs to be repeated that Yaniv was a no-show for today’s hearing! After filing some 35 affidavits alleging everything from death threats to threats of a school shooting and claiming that the entire Yaniv clan had barricaded themselves in their homes in fear, Yaniv felt it was not important enough even to show up! Something that was noticed by the Judge who put it on record was that DFS attended every hearing, and his side demonstrated that Yaniv most definitely received notice of the hearing’s date and time.
Today’s hearing was scheduled between Yaniv and Donald, with Kari Simpson acting as Donald’s layperson advocate. Kari Simpson raised several issues, not least the unsealing of this case.
However, Rebel News also applied to the courts for a hearing on Yaniv’s ridiculous publication ban. They argued that as Yaniv had previously sued them and lost on the same basis as her trumped-up case against Donald and had a large public following connected directly to her court history, there was no legal basis for such an order to exist. Furthermore, you will see in the image below that Yaniv had withheld details from the court. The two hearings before Justice Chan were merged, and between Kari’s affidavits and Rebels lawyers, it was ruled that Jessica Jonathon Yaniv had misled the court, causing a judge to make an improper ruling. That ruling was overturned. You do not have to be an expert to know that this will not go down well with the legal system.
In the end, it took less than 50 minutes to destroy years of Yaniv’s mountain of lies, and orders were made to remedy the restrictions Donald Smith had lived under. Of particular note is that the judge also ruled that Yaniv cannot attempt to make any application to restart this file!
There are also several things in the pipeline that we are now free to disclose as well. First is that Yaniv’s reign of terror by weaponizing the legal system is hopefully coming to an end as we have been told that Donald, with the assistance of Kari, will be moving forward with an application very soon to have Yaniv declared a vexatious litigant! This is as we know is long overdue and i have no doubt best handled by Kari and her team for the best chance at success. We know that some previous victims of Yaniv’s would be happy to provide affidavits on how they were adversely affected by Yaniv’s actions within the court system.
Secondly, we are told that Donald and Kari are pursuing criminal charges for several things and are actively working with the RCMP to have them forwarded to the Crown. We all know that criminal perjury and others are on the table. In addition, there is an investigation into the incident with Drea Humphrey, which ended with Yaniv threatening to have Rexy bite her. The young woman who Rexy bit will also be happy to receive this video.
Overall, it was a very bad day for Jessica Yaniv Simpson, who spent the morning posting veiled threats of litigation to several area restaurants and a shopping mall to soothe what were surely massive feelings of inadequacy and impotence. These are not unfamiliar feelings for Yaniv, but still. Please keep checking in, as we will be posting numerous documents and insights in the days to come.
